Sarahi is a graduate student at UC San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy where she is completing her Master’s Degree in Public Policy with concentrations in Inequality & Social Policy and Environmental Policy. She is passionate about environmental justice, gender equality, and fair housing rights.
Her prior experience includes working in the nonprofit sector serving low-income and unhoused communities through counseling, healthcare, harm reduction, and advocacy services. Sarahi holds a B.A. in Political Science and Gender Studies from UCLA.
At the Center, Sarahi leads our strategy development effort to mitigate the public health effects of the Tijuana River sewage crisis.
