Open Calls for Papers
General Submission Guidelines for Members
Membership includes the ability to pitch and publish work with the Center at any time — not limited to an open Call for Papers. All Member-submitted work is subject to the same editorial review as any other Center publication.
To submit:
- Email a pitch (1–2 paragraphs) to submissions@thelajollacenter.org describing your proposed piece and which Focus Area or Program it relates to
- Include your Member status
- Include your proposed word count (no more than 3,000 words), an author bio, any conflicts of interest to disclose, and confirmation the work is original
